Inter coach Antonio Conte not leading Inter to a Serie A title win this season would be a total failure, at least according to former Italian national team striker Francesco ‘Ciccio’ Graziani.

Inter are currently sitting in second place in the Serie A table, one point adrift of current league leaders, city rivals AC Milan.

The Nerazzurri club have already been eliminated from all forms of European competition and this has led to many pundits and media outlets naming Inter as the favourites to win the title with some sources going so far as to suggested Inter are obliged to win.

“If he doesn’t win the Scudetto it’s a total failure. If I were Conte I would be delighted with the team available to me, how can you want a stronger team than this one?” he explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva, earlier on today.

Graziani, who most notably played for Torino, then went on to speak about Christian Eriksen’s situation at Inter and shared his belief that he is not the only foreigner to be struggling with playing in Italy.

“He is suffering like other foreign players, ours is the most difficult league because tactics have a greater importance than in other leagues, he like Ramsey is a victim of this system.”
