Graziano Pelle and Gervinho are two players who could possibly come in and replace Andrea Pinamonti at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Pinamonti is largely expected to move on from Inter in the next transfer window with a number of clubs, including both Parma and Benevento, said to be interested in taking him on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.

Inter have no plans of spending big in January and only those available at a low cost will come in to replace those who head out the exit door.

Pelle has been linked with Inter for a few weeks now and as of tomorrow he will be a free agent with his contract with Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng set to expire at the end of day.

Gervinho has meanwhile been linked with joining Inter for several months with a number of reports having suggested that Inter would like to swap Pinamonti for him.

The report from the Milan based news outlet also goes on to suggest that a new midfielder may not come in due to Matias Vecino’s recovery from injury, something which they describe as being emblematic.
