Inter continue to think of Parma’s Gervinho as a potential reinforcement that they could bring into the club in next month’s transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter would like to acquire the experienced Ivorian forward, who Inter manager Antonio Conte highly appreciates, via a swap deal to bolster the club’s attacking options and the player they are thinking of offering in the exchange is young forward Andrea Pinamonti.

Pinamonti has struggled for game time at Inter this season with him having been limited to just three substitute appearances across all competitions to date and he has been heavily linked with a potential move to Parma in recent weeks.

The report goes on to insist that at this time a swap deal between Inter and Parma involving Pinamonti and Gervinho is nothing more than an idea.

This season Gervinho has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and tallied one assist.
