The conditions for Fluminense youngster Marcos Paulo to join Inter are not currently there according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Inter have an interest in signing the Portuguese under 19 national team representative but they are also far from alone in being interested in signing him.

In fact, various clubs from across Europe have already made offers to the youngster, whose contract with his current employers is due to expire at the end of this season.

A contract renewal cannot be ruled out but it is more plausible that he will make the jump across to Europe.

As things currently stand, it is unlikely that he will end up at Inter unless Inter raise the bar and the intermediaries working on the deal at least equalise the other offers made.

Given the club’s current financial situation, signing Marcos Paulo is not viewed as a priority by the management of the Nerazzurri club.
