Offloading Christian Eriksen in a swap deal for Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes is Inter’s preferred option when it comes to getting rid of Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Eriksen joined Inter last January and has had a nightmare spell with the Nerazzurri club and he is widely expected to bid farewell to the Nerazzurri in next month’s transfer window.

Inter would like to swap Eriksen for Paredes, who they have been linked with signing for some time, but the report from the Milan based news outlet warns that there is still a long way to go.

Eriksen has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date for Inter this term but has failed to make any goal contributions whatsoever during his time on the park.

Argentine national team player Paredes has meanwhile also made 12 appearances and like Eriksen he too has made no goal contributions.
