The transfer window that Inter will have is largely dependent on them offloading both Christian Eriksen and Andrea Pinamonti according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Should both Eriksen, who has already been offered out to clubs by an intermediary, and Pinamonti depart the club, Inter would bring in a new midfielder and a new striker and the new midfielder could be Atalanta’s Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez.

Gomez appears set to leave Atalanta next month and the report explains that it remains to be seen what Atalanta decide to do with him.

In order for Inter to sign him, Atalanta must either free Gomez from his contract or let him leave for a small amount.

There has been talk of Inter offering a young player as part of a deal but at this moment everything regarding a move for Gomez is still premature.

When it comes to the attack, the Rome based news outlet add that if a swap deal with Parma for Gervinho does not take off, due to Parma’s desire to monetise from Gervinho’s sale, Genoa could be a potential landing spot for Pinamonti if they go on to lose Gianluca Scamacca.
