Inter let Radja Nainggolan go on loan to Cagliari due to the Rossoblu club making a promise to them according to a report from Italian news outlet Centotrentuno.com.

Nainggolan completed a loan switch to Cagliari earlier on today and he will spend the remainder of the season with them.

As per this report, Inter accepted the loan offer due to Cagliari paying almost all of Nainggolan’s wages and also due to them promising to sign Nainggolan outright in the Summer transfer window, which Inter will be able to record a not too significant loss from.

Inter would like a sum of €10 million for Nainggolan. Inter also have a liking for Cagliari youngster Riccardo Ladinetti and in addition to offering him, Cagliari could offer €7.5 million as well.

The report goes on to add that seeing as Inter did Cagliari a favour by letting Nainggolan go to them on a dry loan, they asked for a favour in return by asking for discounts on players they like such as Alessio Cragno, Nahitan Nandez and Sebastian Walukiewicz.

In practice this could mean Inter get €10 million off of any of these players considering Nainggolan’s valuation by including him into a deal for one of the above.
