La Liga side Valencia have tested the waters with Inter lately with regard to the possibility of signing Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.

The Danish national team attacking midfielder is widely expected to leave Inter next month and is understood to want a return to the Premier League, where he previously played for Tottenham Hotspur.

Eriksen has drawn links to Arsenal, who made an enquiry, and there is also a lot of talk regarding a possible move to French side Paris Saint-Germain, where he could be reunited with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The 28-year-old joined Inter on a four and a half year contract last January but has had a nightmare spell with the Nerazzurri club with him having failed to live up to expectations.

This season he has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date, the majority of which have come of the bench. He has failed to score or assist any goals.
