Atalanta want at least €10 million for Inter linked forward Papu Gomez, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 32-year-old Argentine forward, who is contracted to the Bergamo based club until 2022, has suffered a complete relationship breakdown with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

It began at the start of December during the 1-1 draw with Midtjylland in the Champions League, and the full breakdown took place after the 1-1 draw with Juventus two weeks later.

Gomez asked president Antonio Percassi to leave on a free transfer in this month’s transfer window, but his request was declined.

Atalanta are incredibly angry about the situation and removed him from the squad for the two games against Roma and Bologna before the Christmas break, and want at least €10 million for his signature.

Gomez has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1122 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals and provided four assists.
