Inter coach Antonio Conte will deploy the same defensive trio for the 10th game in a row, featuring Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the trio have provided the 51-year-old Italian coach with a strong sense of security, gelling together well and keeping three clean sheets in the last nine league outings.

The last time Conte changed the trio was when he deployed Danilo D’Ambrosio, Andrea Ranocchia and Bastoni against Torino, in the 4-2 win back in November.

Since then, only the Slovakian, Dutchman and Italian have started ahead of captain Samir Handanovic.

Conte understands that one of the most important aspects to a squad when looking to win the league title is a strong defense, so the confirmation of this trio gives the team important guarantees ahead of the second half of the season.
