Italian Media Argue Stefano Sensi, Alexis Sanchez & Matias Vecino Returning To Action Will Be Like January Signings For Inter

A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has suggested that the recovery of three Inter players is almost as important as January signings.

The report details how Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, is finally close to making a full recovery and is aiming to reach his best physical condition in order to play an important part in the second half of the season for coach Antonio Conte.

Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino, who has not made a single appearance this campaign after suffering a serious knee injury in the summer, is set to return to squad training from next week, finally giving Conte another option in the midfield department.

Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez is also set to return, and took part in some of the squad training yesterday, so could even appear on the bench in tomorrow’s clash against newly promoted Crotone.
