Inter coach Antonio Conte was furious with Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal during the Nerazzurri’s first half against Crotone today, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInter1908 earlier today.
The report details how the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2022, was at fault for the Calabrian side’s first goal, failing to mark Niccolò Zanellato.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich man then gave away the penalty which allowed Crotone to come back into the game, tying it up at 2-2.
Conte was furious with Vidal’s protests after the game, with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia catching the coach shouting: “Arturo, play and don’t bust my balls!”
Vidal was then taken off at half time, with Conte bringing on Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi in his place.
The 25-year-old former Sassuolo man managed to impress and showed positive signals, finally showing Conte that he will be another strong option for the midfield in the second half of the season.
