Italian journalist Giovanni Capuano commented on Inter’s thrilling 6-2 win over Crotone earlier today in a post on his Twitter page after the game.

The Nerazzurri did not start the game well, with the Rossoblu taking the lead after only 12 minutes, with poor defending on a corner allowing the newly promoted side to gain the advantage.

23-year-old Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez struck back only eight minutes later, with Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku playing a key pass to the former Racing man.

Crotone’s own goal put the Milanese club ahead, but Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal gave away a penalty only five minutes later, allowing the newly promoted side a way back into the game.

The Nerazzurri seemed like a different team in the second half, with the decision to bring on Stefano Sensi in place of Arturo Vidal being an important factor.

A strong second half followed, with Inter dominating the Calabrian side and netting multiple times.

The game finished 6-2, an impressive score line as Inter secured their eighth consecutive win in the league.

Capuano commented on the game, saying:

“Inter have huge potential and with one game ahead they are by far the favourites for the Scudetto. In general, I think even Conte, who says otherwise, knows this.

“The issue remains that the choices made on the transfer window he pushed for (Vidal & Kolarov) have been negative until now.”
