Italian Journalist Enrico Mentana: “Inter Striker Romelu Lukaku’s Injury A Worry But So Is Presence Of Arturo Vidal”

Italian journalist Enrico Mentana discussed Inter’s emphatic 6-2 win over Crotone yesterday in a post on his Facebook page.

The Nerazzurri failed start the game well, with the newly promoted Rossoblu jumping into the lead after only 12 minutes, taking advantage of some poor defending on a corner to score the first goal of the game.

23-year-old Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez responded only eight minutes later, thanks to a key pass from Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

An own goal by Crotone put Inter ahead, but Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal continued his poor performance by giving away a penalty, giving the Rossoblu a way back into the match.

Conte’s side looked like a different team after half time, taking the lead thanks to Lautaro, before the team’s intensity overwhelmed Giovanni Stroppa’s side.

The game finished 6-2, the Nerazzurri’s eighth consecutive win. The Milanese club’s next game is against Sampdoria on Wednesday next week.
