Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani commented on Inter’s emphatic 6-2 win over Crotone earlier today in a post on his Twitter page after the game.

The Milanese club didn’t start the game well, with the newly promoted Calabrian side gaining the upper hand after only 12 minutes, taking advantage of some poor defending on a corner to net the opener.

23-year-old Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez quickly struck back only eight minutes later, thanks to a key pass from Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

An own goal by Crotone put Inter ahead, but Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal gave away a penalty only five minutes later, generating fury on the sidelines from coach Antonio Conte.

Conte’s side looked like a different team after the break, again taking the lead thanks to Lautaro Martinez, before the team’s intensity overwhelmed the Calabrian side.

The game finished 6-2, the Nerazzurri’s eighth consecutive win, helping them to sit top of the league table, although that could change after the conclusion of AC Milan’s clash against Benevento this evening.

Ravezzani commented on the game, saying:

“Inter irrepressible, even if a bit too much suffering in the first half, but the qualitative difference with Crotone was abysmal.

“Important to have found the best Lautaro. Lukaku always decisive, but his muscular problem is worrying. Vidal a disaster, he’s finally lost his place.”
