After a mediocre first half which ended in a 2-2 draw, Inter demolished Crotone in the second half of the Serie A clash between the two sides at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, scoring 4 goals to win 6-2.

The Nerazzurri made it 8 wins in a row in the Serie A after a hattrick from Lautaro Martinez who also forced an owngoal with Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi completing the goalfest.

Samir Handanovic – 5.5: Alert early to block Pereira, and that was his noteable contribution. His prime self would’ve stopped the penalty, but you can’t put any blame on him.

Milan Skriniar – 6.5: Dependable, solid as a rock, and often indeed he was for Crotone attackers. Really grown into the back three. Indispensable for me.

Stefan De Vrij – 6: Impressed at the start with clockwork precision in his positioning and challenges. His level dropped slightly by the end.

Alessandro Bastoni – 7.5: Involved in the attack, got an assist with a precise long-ball to Lukaku. And what about that goal-saving block on Messias?! Growing into a star.

Achraf Hakimi – 7: Troubled Reca with his pace and off-the-ball movement, deservedly got his goal. Was a menace and hopefully he continues building up his form.

Nicolo Barella – 7: You remember the Duracel ad with a rabbit that never stops going? That is Nicolo. Heart and soul of this team. Could run for days.

Marcelo Brozovic – 6: Showed the nervousness that Interisti dread, along with bad decision-making. 2nd half was a turning point, as he calmed and got his precision back.

Arturo Vidal – 4: Crotone’s Santa gifted both of their goals. Combatitive at his own expense, and got lazy. There must be a reason Barcelona released him for free.

Ashley Young – 5.5: Exposed in defense and was liability today, though his cross for Lautaro was finger-licking good. Definately should work on his positioning and awareness.

Romelu Lukaku – 8: Dominated against his opposition, seemed unstoppable, especially in his means to set-up his teammates. On world-class level.

Lautaro Martinez – 9: Got his first hat-trick, had a hand in their own-goal and he should’ve scored a 1-on-1 he had, but the effort and the work-rate was of the highest level.

Stefano Sensi – 6.5: After his introduction, especially since it was on the expense of Vidal, Inter got ticking. Always available to his team-mates, showed the right spirit.

Roberto Gagliardini – 6: Subbed in to rest Barella and give us a bit of physicality in the middle of the park protecting the lead we accumulated. Decent in the little minutes he got.

Ivan Perisic – 6: Got on for Lukaku who felt a discomfort in his knee. His well-taken shot was deflected in the path of Lautaro for his hat-trick.

Matteo Darmian – 6: Played on the left in place of Young, and that shut down their attacks down that flank. Provides depth and a decent tool to have in your toolbox.

Aleksandar Kolarov – N/A: Got a cameo. Seemed so long ago seeing Kolarov in an Inter shirt, doesn’t it? In that time we solidified defensively and got 8 wins in a row.

Antonio Conte – 6.5: Inter still leaks, and it’s due his old pals and their individual mistakes. At least he reacted timely, and hopefully he continues reacting.

Gianluca Aureliano – 7.5: You can only wish for an anonymous performance form the ref, and that’s what we got. Used VAR well, and you can’t fault him for much.

Inter – 7.5: Inter scored 6! LuLa duo upfront doing their thing and kept us entertained. This will surely do wonders for players confidence, especially our Bull. Avanti!
