Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin discussed the reports that the Suning group are looking to sell Inter in a post on his Twitter page yesterday.

A report in Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport yesterday suggested that Inter had asked the Rothschild bank to look for buyers for the Nerazzurri, news that was quickly denied by president Steven Zhang.

The Suning group are looking to refinance a €375 million bond but are not planning to sell the Milanese club.

Biasin discussed the reports on Twitter, saying:

“Steven Zhang categorically denies the hypothesis of selling Inter and specifies that it is news without any foundation.

“At every break, pause, holiday, ‘the Chinese government closes the taps’ and Zhang moves away.

“Fortunately, tomorrow we’re back on the pitch.”
