Italian journalist Maurizio Pistocchi discussed the reports that the Suning group were looking to sell Inter in a post on his Twitter page yesterday.
A report in yesterday’s edition of the Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport detailed how Suning had asked the Rothschild bank to look for buyers for Inter, news that was quickly denied by president Steven Zhang in an official statement.
The Suning group are looking to refinance a €375 million bond but are not planning to sell the Milanese club.
Pistocchi discussed the situation, saying:
“The real problem at Inter is the January market, ownership has been strict, no new signings without sales.
“The loan of Nainggolan should be included in this framework, and here we will see Piero Ausilio’s ability to make outgoing and incoming deals at zero cost.”
