Inter could let Christian Eriksen leave on loan in January if a club agrees to cover his wages, according to a leading Italian broadaster.

Sky Sport Italia this evening reported the Nerazzurri would be open to a temporary departure should they not receive any permanent offers they deem to be appropriate.

Eriksen is one of Inter’s highest earners with a €7 million annual salary, having signed a four-and-a-half year deal after joining from Tottenham in January last year.

The 28-year-old has been linked to West Ham United, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, but it appears nobody is preparing to make Inter an offer a present.

This season he has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has failed to make any goal contributions.

Antonio Conte wants Eriksen out after reverting to last season’s 3-5-2 system and hopes to replace him with a midfielder more suited to his style of play.
