Milan Skriniar has shared his belief that he and his Inter team-mates are currently doing the right things.
Inter recorded their eighth straight Serie A win yesterday afternoon at San Siro as they ran out comfortable 6-2 winners over Crotone.
Antonio Conte’s side are currently sitting in second place, just a single point behind current league leaders and city rivals AC Milan after 15 games played.
“We are working, we are doing the right things in my opinion,” he insisted in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
“Above all, we’re trying to be consistent in our work and results.”
Skriniar was then asked about Inter’s need to concede fewer goals, with them having conceded at a much greater rate this season than they did last season.
“Must we try to concede less? Definitely yes, last year we didn’t concede many goals.
“Now the important thing is that we are scoring more, but we defenders have to concede as few goals as possible.”
The 25-year-old joined Inter back in the summer of 2017 from fellow Serie A side Sampdoria and he has since went on to represent the club on no less than 142 occasions.
He has managed to score five goals and provide four assists for his teammates.
