Inter look like a team with enough attacking options to win any game no matter how well they play, according to a report in Italy’s media.

In today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, it has been highlighted that Inter have won eight straight league games for the first time since 2008, a year in which they won the Serie A title.

Moreover, after the 6-2 win over Crotone yesterday, Inter have managed to hit 40 goals in their first 15 league games and this was the first time since the 1950/51 season that they have achieved this feat.

The partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez played a big part in this win with them combining for four goals.

Lukaku grabbed one before going off with an injury to his thigh whilst Lautaro grabbed a hat trick and could have had another although it was accredited to Crotone’s Luca Marrone.

In fact, only Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have managed to score more than Inter this season in Europe’s top five leagues.

Inter coach Antonio Conte has built a goal machine which is always capable of scoring at least one more than their opponent and score more than the likes of Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, who are all the reigning champions of their respective leagues.

Gazzetta said: “Inter play like a team that knows it will eventually end up winning the match.”
