Italian stats provider Opta Paolo has noted Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal’s recklessness in the penalty area in a post on their Twitter page yesterday.

The 33-year-old Chilean midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, has made 17 appearances across all competitions so far this season, playing a total of 1035 minutes.

During that time, he has provided two assists, picked up one red card and given away two penalties.

Opta Paolo highlighted Vidal’s issues in the penalty area, saying:

“2 – Arturo Vidal is the only Inter player to have conceded at least two fouls leading to a penalty kick in all competitions this term. Imprudent.”
