A tweet from Italian stats provider Opta Paolo highlighted the incredible numbers achieved by Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku in his first 50 appearances with Inter.

The 27-year-old Belgian forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has made 19 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1484 minutes.

In that time, he has scored 16 goals and provided three assists, being the core part of coach Antonio Conte’s system.

Opta Paolo posted the tweet, saying:

“59 – Romelu Lukaku has been involved in 59 goals (50 goals, 9 assists) in his first 70 appearances with Inter in all competitions. Uncontainable.”
