Inter are in talks with Benevento over a loan deal for striker Andrea Pinamonti, according to Italian media reports today.

CalcioMercato.com reported that relations between the two clubs are excellent, as are those between Pinamonti’s agent Mino Raiola and the newly-promoted outfit.

Inter are prepared to pay half of the 21-year-old’s wages for the loan deal and it now remains to be seen what Pinamonti’s intentions are, with the report implying that he is not too keen on the idea of moving to a provincial side.

Inter are on the hunt for a new fourth choice striker but due to this being far from simple, it cannot be ruled out that Pinamonti could even remain with the Nerazzurri.

Antonio Conte has given the Italy under-21 international just three cameo appearances so far this season and is known to want a more experienced option behind Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez.

Bologna, Crotone and Eintracht Frankfurt are among the other clubs linked with moves for Pinamonti elsewhere this week.
