It is very unlikely that Eder will make a return to Inter during this transfer window, according to an Italian media report today.

As per the online edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, there has been no contact over a possible return for the Italian-Brazilian forward, who is currently on the books of Jiangsu Suning, owned by Inter’s owners suning, contrary to reports made by Gianluca Di Marzio last night.

The report goes on to explain that there has perhaps been an indirect proposal made but Inter have not considered the idea of bringing the former Sampdoria player back to the club for another spell.

Eder has wanted to return to Italy for six months now but in order to do so he would have to take a wage cut of 30-40%.

The report from the Milan based news outlet also highlights that young striker Andrea Pinamonti represents a problem for Inter.

If he does not move on to another club, it will be difficult for Inter to think about bringing in another striker.

In the meantime, Gazzetta have assured that Inter have no intention of making a move for Eder, who scored 14 goals in 86 appearances during two-and-a-half years at the club.
