Inter will only sign a new fourth-choice striker in January if Andrea Pinamonti leaves the club, according to Italian media reports.

As per today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter value Pinamonti at €20 million and it will be hard for them to find someone willing to sign him on a permanent basis this month.

Due to this, Inter could try and set up a swap deal in order to bring in another striker and in this sense, the favourite of Inter coach Antonio Conte is Parma’s Gervinho, who Inter already showed an interest in last summer.

For the moment however, Parma are refusing the idea whilst Benevento are thinking about a move for Pinamonti.

Gervinho is not the only forward on Inter’s radar as they look to bring someone in at a low cost, with newly-made free agent Graziano Pelle as well as former player Eder, currently of Jiangsu Suning, both also options for the Nerazzurri club.

As things stand, Inter do not have any real interest in Eder but the fact he is already on Suning’s payroll means something could potentially happen near the end of the transfer window.
