Inter are the best team in Serie A, at least according to noted Italian football writer Mario Sconcerti.

The Nerazzurri have won their last eight games in a row in Serie A and are currently sitting in second place in the standings, one point behind league leaders and city rivals AC Milan, who are the only side to have beaten Inter in the league so far this season.

Sconcerti wrote in his latest newspaper column for Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera, which appeared in yesterday’s print edition of the Milanese news outlet.

He began by touching on AC Milan and their great start to the 2020/21 Serie A season, something which has taken many by surprise.

“They have an enthusiasm that becomes continuity, that helps them get lucky, which puts them on the right path; Juventus do not have that strength,” he started.

He proceeded to discuss Inter: “Inter do not even look for that kind of enthusiasm, they plug away with their physicality while having the best team overall.”

Sconcerti concluded his column by returning to discuss AC Milan and their performance in their win over Benevento at the weekend.

“AC Milan are good, they always do the right thing, they play fairly and they respect the opponent.”
