Paris Saint-Germain have no interest in signing Christian Eriksen from Inter in January, according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Reports in the UK earlier on Tuesday stated that the French champions’ new head coach Mauricio Pochettino wanted to sign the 28-year-old in this month’s transfer window, having already worked with Eriksen at Tottenham.

But Di Marzio told viewers on Sky Sport Italia tonight that this was not the case, reporting that PSG had been in contact with Inter recently but only to tell the Nerazzurri that they were not responsible for the rumours regarding their interest in the midfielder.

Pochettino’s arrival in Paris makes no difference to the Ligue 1 giants’ plans, which would come as a blow to Inter in their bid to offload the Danish international.

Eriksen is widely expected to leave in January after falling out of favour under Antonio Conte, but it remains unclear whether any club will want to sign him at Inter’s conditions.
