Young Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti is an ‘interesting player’ according to Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter.

In the past few days, Eintracht Frankfurt have been linked with potentially making a move to sign Pinamonti, who has struggled for regular game time this season.

The German’s are far from alone in being interested in the 21-year-old with multiple reports elsewhere in the media have linked him with moves to the likes of Benevento and Bologna.

Corriere dello Sport have even reported that Benevento have made a loan with option to buy offer for Pinamonti, who is contracted to Inter until the end of the 2023-24 season.

“Of course I know of the player, he’s a player in the Italian U21 national team. He is an interesting player,” he explained to the gathered media at his pre-match press conference today.

“There are several candidates, but in one way or the other there is always some sort of problem.”

Hutter, who has been in charge of the Bundesliga club since 2018, then went on to add that the club’s management are working to make a new signing but insisted that there is a need for patience.

“The management team are working on ensuring that we can make a new signing well before 31 January but sometimes you need patience.”

This season Pinamonti has made just three appearances and has failed to make any goal contributions.

A host of reports have suggested that Inter bringing in a new forward such as Jiangsu Suning’s Eder, but that could be dependent on Pinamonti departing first.
