Christian Eriksen could potentially complete a surprise loan return to former club Tottenham Hotspur during this transfer window, according to an Italian media report.
TuttoMercatoWeb report that Eriksen has been placed on the transfer list by Inter although they are yet to receive any offers for him.
The Dane’s former club Ajax have made an enquiry for him but he could well make a return to another former club of his in Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen could return to Spurs in the event that out-of-favour Dele Alli leaves and there is talk of a potential reunion between Alli and Mauricio Pochettino, who has recently become the coach of Paris Saint-Germain.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with making a move for Eriksen, although a recent report in the media has claimed that PSG have been in contact with Inter to tell them they are not interested.
Eriksen joined Inter from Tottenham Hotspur last year but has failed to cement a place in Antonio Conte’s side.
He has 13 appearances this season and has neither scored nor assisted.
