Jose Mourinho is keen to re-sign Christian Eriksen from Inter in the January transfer window, according to a report in Italy.
Gazzetta dello Sport, via their online edition, report that the 28-year-old could potentially return to the north London club if Dele Alli is to leave.
Alli could leave for Paris Saint-Germain, where he would be reunited with ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, and this could open the door for Eriksen to return to Spurs after a difficult spell with Inter.
The report from the Milan-based news outlet highlights that former Inter coach Mourinho likes Eriksen for his playmaking and shooting ability and he would be prepared to give him another chance after selling him 12 months ago.
This season Eriksen, who has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Ajax among others, has made 13 appearances in all competitions but only five starts.
He has failed to score a goal or provide an assist under Antonio Conte during the 2020-21 campaign, playing the final 20 minutes of yesterday’s 2-1 defeat at Sampdoria.jo
