Benevento are keen on Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti but they are considering three other strikers as well, according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Reports elsewhere tonight said the newly-promoted side would secure the 21-year-old’s services next week on a loan deal with an option to buy for €15-16 million.

But Di Marzio told viewers on Sky Sport Italia that Pippo Inzaghi’s side were still evaluating whether to go for Pinamonti or chase deals for Torino’s Simone Zaza, Andreas Cornelius or Roberto Inglese (both at Parma) instead.

Pinamonti is said to have accepted Benevento’s offer with real enthusiasm after a difficult first half of the season with Inter.

He has made just three appearances in all competitions under Antonio Conte this season and will be the second player to leave the Nerazzurri in this month’s transfer window after Radja Nainggolan rejoined Cagliari on loan last week.

His departure could open the door for Conte to recruit a more experienced back-up option to Romelu Lukaku.
