It is difficult for Inter to offload both Christian Eriksen and Andrea Pinamonti due to the salaries that they earn, according to an Italian media report today.
As per Corriere della Sera’s print edition, Inter are looking to trim down their squad and the above duo are among the players they are prepared to offload but it is not easy for them to do so.
Pinamonti currently earns €2.5 million net a year and it is difficult for Inter to find a new club for him seeing as they are unwilling to contribute to paying his wages whatsoever.
The same applies for Eriksen who earns around three times as much as young striker Pinamonti.
No shortage of clubs have shown a keen interest in signing Pinamonti on loan for the remainder of the season but there has only been some shy interest from Premier League sides in Eriksen, who is very much out of favour.
The report warns that Inter will have to wait until the final days of the transfer window before seeing if they can bring someone in, perhaps someone like Eder on a free transfer.
