Inter have tested the waters with Lazio’s Felipe Caicedo over a potential move to the San Siro, according to a report from an Italian broadcaster this afternoon.

SportMediaset report that Caicedo is discontent with his playing time at Lazio, wishes to play more consistently and for this reason he could look to move away if offers come in.

Lazio are said to be willing to consider any offers for the Ecuadorian forward, who they currently value in the region of €8 million.

Despite having other priorities, such as offloading Andrea Pinamonti and Christian Eriksen, and being restricted financially, Inter have nevertheless shown an interest in acquiring Caicedo.

While Caicedo may not get the playing time he craves at Inter, he could be tempted into joining Inter by the prospect of fighting for the Serie A title at Inter, who are seen by many to have a greater chance of doing so than Lazio.

In addition to Caicedo, Inter have been linked with the likes of Eder, Graziano Pelle and Gervinho as they look to bring in a deputy to Romelu Lukaku.
