The January transfer window has not even been open for a week yet but Inter are already thinking about possible moves that they could make in the summer, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Tuttosport’s print edition, Inter have their eye on Napoli duo Arkadiusz Milik and Nikola Maksimovic, both of whom have contracts which are due to expire at the end of the season.

Inter have an interest in acquiring both the Poland and Serbian internationals on free transfers to bolster their squad heading into the 2021-22 season.

The Nerazzurri have an interest in several other players for the summer as well with Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul and Sampdoria’s Mikkel Damsgaard also believed to be on their radar in terms of midfield reinforcements.

Former Valencia player De Paul has been strongly linked with a move to Inter for several months and recently shared his admiration for Inter coach Antonio Conte amid the ongoing speculation.

Damsgaard, meanwhile, impressed during Inter’s 2-1 defeat against Sampdoria on Wednesday, setting up Keita Balde’s goal for the Blucerchiati with an impressive forward run.
