Intermediaries are at work to set up a complicated transfer triangle between Inter, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain, according to an Italian media repot today.
Gazzetta dello Sport report via their print edition that the clubs are hoping to swap Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Leandro Paredes between them in a low-cost January deal.
While Eriksen could head back to Spurs, Paredes could head to Inter from PSG and Alli could swap Spurs for PSG.
The acquisition of Paredes would be something that would please Inter coach Antonio Conte who is seeking a quality reinforcement in the midfield.
In times like these, where money is tight for all clubs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, such a deal would involve minimal expenses.
The Milan based news outlet go on to add that talks have in fact already gotten underway, even though the January transfer market is still in its infancy.
Paredes was linked with PSG earlier this week when it was rumoured Inter wanted a direct swap deal with Eriksen, before reports emerged in France that the Argentine midfielder wanted to stay in Paris.
It remains to be seen whether this has changed.
