Inter centre-back Alessandro Bastoni has the sixth-highest transfer value of all central defenders in world football according to the CIES Football Observatory.
As per CIES and their algorithm, Bastoni has a transfer value of €66.1 million which puts him ahead of the likes of Manchester United captain Harry Maguire in the top 10, with the Englishman valued at €59.6 million.
The centre-back with the greatest transfer value at this moment in time is Manchester City’s Ruben Dias, who has a transfer value of €126.8 million.
