Alessandro Bastoni’s agent met with Inter’s management today to continue talks over a new contract, according to an Italian media report.
As per a report from TuttoMercatoWeb, the Nerazzurri have been discussing a new deal with Tulio Tinti for the highly-rated Italian national team central defender through to 2025 for some time and the purpose of this meeting was purely interlocutory.
In the meeting, the parties agreed to have further talks in the coming weeks regarding Bastoni’s contract situation and this report also claims that it is possible that Eder’s name was brought up in conversation.
Eder, another of Tinti’s clients, has been linked with a potential return to Inter in the January transfer transfer window as they look to bolster their attacking options.
The Italian-Brazilian forward, who is currently a player for Jiangsu FC, could be a last-minute option that the club explore during a window that, barring any surprises, will not see any big name players brought to the Nerazzurri.
