Achraf Hakimi has scored more goals than any defender in all of Europe’s top five leagues so far this season, Inter have highlighted with a post on social media.
The Moroccan national team wing-back has tallied six goals in Serie A this season, scoring again with a splendid effort during Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Roma, and this is also a personal record for him when it comes to league goals in a single season.
Since joining Inter from Real Madrid in last summer’s transfer window, Hakimi has also provided five assists for his teammates.
Inter posted: “Achraf Hakimi has scored more goals (six) than any other defender in Europe’s Top Five leagues: it’s also a personal best for him in a single league season.”
