Atalanta have no intention of transferring club captain Papu Gomez to either Inter or Juventus, according to an Italian media report today.

Gomez, who has not featured at all for Atalanta for five games now, is seeking a new club with different ambitions to those of Torino and Fiorentina.

The former Catania player, who has spent the last six and a half years with Atalanta, has made 16 appearances aross all competitions to date this term.

During his time on the park, Gomez has contributed five goals and also provided four assists for his teammates at La Dea.
