After 90 minutes of play at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, the scoreline was 1-1 which forced extra time and just when it looked like the teams would have to be separated by penalties, Romelu Lukaku popped up with a late winner.
Inter will face AC Milan in the quarterfinals of the competition.
