Udinese have an interest in signing Inter youngster Andrea Pinamonti, according to an Italian media report today.

Given the shortage of strikers available at the club, the Bianconeri’s management, as per Tuttosport’s print edition, are thinking about possibly going out and getting a new forward in the January transfer window.

Pinamonti is one player that they have in mind, but a deal for the Italian youth national team player will be far from simple.

Udinese are also not alone in courting Pinamonti either with this report adding that both Benevento and Crotone are interested in adding him to their ranks to bolster their attacking departments.

Pinamonti rejoined Inter on a permanent basis this past summer from Genoa but has hardly featured under Antonio Conte.

The 21-year-old has been limited to just three appearances across all competitions to date and he has spent a long time out injured with an ankle problem he picked up on national team duty.

He seemed set to join Benevento earlier this week, but Conte is reported to be blocking the move because Inter do not have a replacement lined-up.
