Inter are expected to finalise Sebastiano Esposito’s loan move to Venezia tomorrow, as per a report from Gianluca Di Marzio.

Esposito had already given his consent to join the Serie B side, who currently occupy the final play-off position in Italy’s second tier.

Di Marzio reported via his website that Inter and Venezia are in constant contact to sort the final details of their agreement, which should be concluded on Friday.

The 18-year-old spent the first half of the season with SPAL, but he has returned to the Nerazzurri during the January transfer window after falling out of favour in Ferrara.

Esposito, who is widely regarded as one of Inter’s brightest young prospects, scored one goal in 13 appearances for SPAL.

He now hopes to play with more regularity under Paolo Zanetti in Venice, having been an unused substitute for each of his last five matches with SPAL.

As many as eight Serie B clubs had been linked with Esposito, but the Lagunari appear to have won the race.
