Andrea Pinamonti is awaiting a decision to be made by Inter on his future with the club, according to an Italian media report.
The 21-year-old is widely expected to leave the Nerazzurri in January but his departure has so far been blocked by Antonio Conte, who has not received assurances over a replacement coming in.
TuttoMercatoWeb report that Benevento remain interested in taking Pinamonti in a loan with option to buy deal and they too are waiting on a definitive decision being made on the youngster’s future.
If Inter decide to keep Pinamonti, Benevento will then direct their attention toward the signing of another striker to bolster their attacking department.
Parma, Bologna and Udinese have all also been linked with signing Pinamonti while Friday’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport suggested Hellas Verona could become interested as well.
This season Pinamonti has made three appearances across all competitions for Inter but has failed to make any goal contributions.
