Juventus have received a boost ahead of their Derby d’Italia match against Inter in Serie A on Sunday with the return to fitness of Federico Chiesa and Weston McKennie.

Inter take on the Bianconeri at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, looking to secure a first win in the fixture since 2016, but come up against a Juventus side aided by the return of two of their key men.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo has welcomed both Chiesa and McKennie back into his squad and should have both fit to feature against Inter.

Former Fiorentina winger Chiesa had been a doubt for the clash and was rested during Juventus’ Coppa Italia victory over Genoa in midweek, whilst McKennie was substituted in the first half of the Serie A win over Sassuolo last weekend.

However, both players have been able to engage in light training this week and should be fit to make the squad for the Derby d’Italia. Juventus will be without the injured Matthijs De Ligt, whilst Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro miss out after testing positive for coronavirus.
