Matias Vecino could return to the Inter squad for the Derby d’Italia with Juventus but Antonio Conte will go with his preferred XI.

The Nerazzurri face a pivotal match in the Scudetto race as they welcome Andrea Pirlo’s side to San Siro on Sunday night.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Vecino could be included in the squad after Conte gathered the players at Appiano Gentile on Sunday morning.

The Uruguayan is not likely to start though as the Coach goes for his favoured XI in one of the biggest matches of the season so far.

That means a 3-5-2 system with Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Arturo Vidal in the middle of the park.

Matteo Darmian is available but Ashley Young is expected to start on the left with the usual duo of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez leading the line.

Probable Inter XI: Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Young; Lukaku, Lautaro
