Inter have been dealt a blow in their efforts to sell Andrea Pinamonti as it’s reported Benevento have turned to Eder.

The Nerazzurri are looking to ship out some of the deadwood in the squad to give themselves more room to operate on the transfer market and ensure they comply with Financial Fair Play.

Given the financial situation across the world any deals are difficult but there was hope due to Benevento’s interest in Pinamonti.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio though the Streghe are now looking at a deal for former Inter forward Eder.

The Italian international is currently playing in China for the Nerazzurri’s sister club Jiangsu Suning and helped them to win the Super League last season.

The 34-year-old has 32 goals in 60 games for the club but could be set for a return to Serie A.

He spent three seasons at Inter, scoring 12 goals in 76 Serie A appearances for the club.
