Inter will loan Christian Eriksen to any British club for no fee, a report suggests, with the only exception Tottenham Hotspur.

The Danish midfielder joined the Nerazzurri in January 2020 for a reported fee of €20m.

However he has struggled to establish himself in Antonio Conte’s squad and the club have made clear that he can move on in January.

According to Tuttosport agent Martin Schoots has been touting Eriksen to Premier League clubs.

There is no shortage of admirers but the midfielder’s €7 million net per season salary is proving a stumbling block as he does not want to take a wage cut.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is believed to be keen to bring Eriksen back but there is a crucial veto coming from San Siro.

Inter are willing to loan out the 28-year-old without a fee – but not to former club Spurs.

After the English club held firm for €20m a year ago, despite Eriksen having six months left on his contract, the Nerazzurri will insist on an expensive loan.
