Inter midfielder Matias Vecino has reportedly lost his battle to be called-up for tonight’s clash with Juventus.

The Uruguayan is yet to feature for the Nerazzurri this season but there was speculation that he could be named in the squad for the Derby d’Italia.

According to Sky Sport though Vecino left the team meeting at Appiano Gentile in the early afternoon and will not be involved against Juve.

Defender Danilo D’Ambrosio is out with injury and there are not expected to be any big surprises in Antonio Conte’s squad.

Samir Handanovic will continue in goal, with Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni making up the back-three.

Arturo Vidal will play in the centre of midfield alongside Nicolo Barella with Marcelo Brozovic dictating the play from deep.

Ashley Young is expected to start on the left with Achraf Hakimi on the other side, with the usual partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez leading the line.
