Inter’s owners Suning could delay the club’s reported rebrand until May, according to an Italian newspaper report today.

As per Tuttosport’s print edition, the Chinese retail giants could be tempted to postpone the ‘I’m Milano’ campaign in the hope they can launch it after the Nerazzurri win the Serie A title.

Everything will become clearer by the end of January when Suning will have to start organising the launch of the club’s new logo.

As part of the rebranding process, various reports have stated the logo will be a minimalistic and modern logo using just the letters ‘I’ and ‘M’ and it will spell the end for the current logo, which has been used since 2014.

The club’s name will not change from FC Internazionale Milano but the club will however begin to be known in corporate circles as ‘Inter Milano’.

It is thought that the rebrand will help Inter out from a marketing point of view.
